Aybike Erdoğan Atay

She was born in Ankara. She received her B.Sc. degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics from Bilkent University in 2014. After completing her M.Sc. degree in the Medical Biology and Genetics program at Dokuz Eylul University, she received her Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Genetics from the Izmir International Biomedicine and Genome Institute, Dokuz Eylul University.

She has contributed to numerous scientific research projects aimed at the development of targeted therapies. Her research focuses on personalized medicine, with particular emphasis on the identification of target-specific therapeutic strategies and the design and production of recombinant proteins. In addition to her publications in internationally indexed journals, she is a co-inventor of a patented expression vector developed for the efficient production of recombinant proteins in mammalian cells.

Since the beginning of 2025, she has been continuing her research and academic activities at the Near East University Synthetic Biology Research and Technology Center, where she also serves as the Assistant Director.
